The Passive Cellular Desalination Array is designed to be manufactured from recycled materials and has a planned productive life cycle including mariculture in some applications. The array itself can be recycled at the end of its useful life, qualifying as a sustainable approach (and depending on the particular application, water produced by the array can be considered a "renewable").
Where deployment involves remote or developing areas not equipped for plastics recycling (see Water Recovery for Impoverished Families and Villages from menu item Opportunities), the array can be used as a tarp, tent or construction material at the end of its useful process life.
We believe that our approach is truly "Green from the Get-Go", green while in use, and green through the end of its total life cycle.
