BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY SUMMARY
The World View Desalination Project is actively searching for private and commercial investment, as well as philanthropic interest to help us supply water-needy populations using the Passive Cellular Desalination Array (PCDA).

Fresh water… in both developing and developed populations, their agriculture, and in fact, their very existence depend on this dwindling resource. Global climate change, increased demand and pollution complicate the problem of water availability.
Definition of Markets -- Discrete and Segmented
The following paragraphs explain for each customer/user sector how the PCDA applies and what customer benefits can be derived. Market estimates are applied to each sector-segment to determine magnitude and likelihood of related projected sales volumes.
Municipalities
This opportunity focuses on large-scale municipal applications for the PCDA. This entails contracts with customers including water districts such as DWP of Los Angeles and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Water Project of Northern California. Such applications would involve very large linked-PCDAs integrated with existing supply and control infrastructures. Very large systems would be implemented to immediate potable water supplies, replenish depleted aquifers, and to restore wetland ecosystems.
Industrial
Segment 1: This opportunity focuses on commercial properties, public buildings, government buildings and commercial residential properties. The PCDA would be integrated into the building’s primary water supply for initial treatment from marine or tainted ground sources as well as gray water waste stream to remove impurities for recycling to fresh water. Array panels are added to exterior walls, as decorative panels, to form awnings, roofs or fascia or can be integrated into the structure by architects for new structures.
Segment 2: This opportunity focuses on industrial customers who require fresh water for processing operations.
Segment 3: This opportunity focuses on industrial customers who produce water based products (not including agricultural markets).
Portable
Segment 1: This opportunity focuses on shipboard applications for freshwater harvesting and for stationary platform freshwater sources.
Segment 2: This opportunity is described under the discrete heading Emergency Provisional (see below).
Segment 3: This opportunity is described under the discrete heading Impoverished Families and Villages (see below).
Segment 4: This opportunity focuses on a small (hand-carried) configuration of the PCDA suitable for remote location temporary or permanent installations.
Segment 5: This opportunity focuses on pleasure marine accessories market. The PCDA would be included in or supplement existing first aid or survival kits carried on-board private pleasure craft.
Emergency Provisional
This opportunity focuses on medium scale portable systems suitable for airlift delivery, container ship, and/or delivered by truck. The customers are government and charitable humanitarian or emergency disaster relief organizations.
Residential
Segment 1: This opportunity focuses commercial properties, public buildings, government buildings and commercial residential properties. The PCDA would be integrated into the building’s primary water supply for initial treatment form marine or tainted ground sources as well as gray water waste stream to remove impurities for recycling to fresh water. Array panels are added to exterior walls, as decorative panels, to form awnings, roofs or fascia or can be integrated into the structure by architects for new structures.
Segment 2: This opportunity focuses on the home improvement green movement market comprised of private homeowners. Whether through an installation contractor or as a do it yourself project, these customers would integrate PCDA panels into the building’s gray water waste stream to remove impurities for recycling to fresh water. Array panels are added to exterior walls, as decorative panels, to form awnings or can be integrated into the structure by architects.
Agricultural
Segment 1: This opportunity focuses large scale PCDA systems, for close to medium proximity to saltwater, which supplies fresh water for open air agriculture and food production.
Segment 2: This opportunity focuses on PCDA systems configured with greenhouses. So configured, as a partial fill-factor, the PCDA provides insulation, shade and fresh water.
Segment 3: Runoff Cleanup removal of salt buildup
Atmospheric CO2 Scrubbing
This opportunity focuses on integration of PCDA-supplied agriculture in greenhouse or open air applications primarily intended to increase green area CO2 removal from the atmosphere. Enclosed systems operating as greenhouses would also be capable of scrubbing CO2 from industrial processing when coupled to the gas production waste stream. Both approaches allow for food and excess water production for human or livestock consumption.
Fresh Water Recovery for Impoverished Families and Villages
This opportunity focuses on development of personal or small village adaptation of the PCDA for impoverished people where existing humanitarian activities exist. The adapted version of the PCDA would be portable by small truck (potentially could include a smaller backpack-portable personal configuration) allowing its use in remote areas. Since the PCDA has no moving parts and requires no other energy aside from sunlight, its use by people without facilities or technical training is feasible. The PCDA may be readily integrated as a component of relief packages currently in humanitarian distribution.
